DESCRIPTION:
Musical Themed French Figural Clock with seated lady playing a drum, the gilt spelter figure seated on a rush-seated stool and arm folded leaning on her drum which carries a white porcelain roman numeral dial and moon hands at the front and a Japy Freres eight day, rack-striking movement cast with the Freres logo, powered by two coiled springs and regulated by pendulum, a trombone and tambourine leaning on the chair complete the setting, all on an alabaster fluted base with gilt beads and raised rosette feet.
CONDITION:
Some losses to gilding on spelter figure, pendulum bob only, no rod; alabaster base in good condition but could use a light cleaning.
